Plan Your Visit to
Plumstead Christian School

Every family has its own reasons for exploring a new school. For many parents, this step begins with questions:

Will our child feel safe and encouraged here?

Are we sacrificing academic quality for spiritual values or vice versa?

Can we afford private Christian education?

These questions matter deeply to you, and at Plumstead Christian School, we welcome them because they point to the very things we are committed to providing.

When you visit our campus, you’ll see how we come alongside families with a nurturing Christian environment, qualified and caring teachers, strong academics, and an accessible tuition model. You’ll witness students who are thriving academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Most importantly, you’ll get a real sense of whether PCS is the right fit for your family.

Campus Visit Options

Personal Campus Tour

We’d love to show you around! Families with children in preschool through grade 5 can tour our Chalfont Campus, and those exploring grades 6 through 12 will visit our Plumsteadville Campus.

Your personalized tour will be led by our Admissions Coordinator, Irene Mathew, and includes classroom visits, opportunities to see the campus facilities, meet faculty, and time to ask questions. Tours last about 45 minutes and are scheduled during the school day so you can experience PCS in action.

Schedule Your Tour

Open House Events

Our Open Houses offer a warm, welcoming way to explore PCS alongside other prospective families. These events include a short introduction, a guided tour through active campus spaces, and opportunities to connect with teachers and student ambassadors. Open Houses are held throughout the year for various age groups, including preschool and kindergarten, as well as our lower, middle, and upper school programs.

The next Open House event will be scheduled for the fall of 2026.

Student Shadow Experience

After your initial tour, students are invited to return for a personalized shadow visit. This gives your son or daughter a chance to meet classmates, experience the school day, and become part of the PCS community.

Here’s what to expect based on your child’s age:

  • Preschool-Kindergarten: Brief classroom visit during a typical school day
  • Elementary (Grades 1-5): Half-day shadow experience
  • Middle & Upper School (Grades 6-12): Full-day visit guided by a student ambassador with similar interests

Shadow visits are a meaningful way for students to connect and see what life at PCS is really like.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where should we go when we arrive on campus?

You’ll check in at the main office at either campus. Dedicated visitor parking is available, and signage will guide you to the front entrance. Once inside, our admissions team will greet you and walk you through what to expect.

How should we prepare for our visit?

There’s nothing special you need to bring; just come with your questions! Students visiting for a shadow day should dress comfortably and be ready to experience a typical school day.

Can my child attend the tour or shadow a student during our visit?

Yes to both! Your child is welcome to join you during the initial tour so they can begin to get a feel for the school environment. Then, following your tour, we invite them back for a shadow day to dive deeper into the student experience. Preschool and kindergarten students enjoy a short classroom visit, elementary students stay for a half day, and middle and upper school students are paired with a student ambassador for a full-day experience.

Do you offer transportation?

Yes. PCS offers its own transportation services, which is a great benefit for many families. We’re happy to discuss options and routes during your visit.

What if we’re concerned about affordability?

You’re not alone! Many families wonder if private Christian education is within reach. PCS offers a Variable Tuition model to help make an excellent, Christ-centered education accessible to a wide range of families.

How can I learn more about upcoming Open House events?

Our next Open House will be in April! To learn more and to register, contact our admissions office directly at admissions@plumsteadchristian.org.

Where can I get more information about the school?

Our free Parent Guide is a great next step. It provides an overview of our mission, academic programs, community culture, and what you can expect as a PCS parent.
