Music is a gift from God — designed for praise, worship, inspiration, and enjoyment. Plumstead Christian students are encouraged to develop their musical abilities to their fullest potential while honoring the Lord through excellence. Opportunities are given for performance, composition, improvisation, exploration and appreciation.

Lower School Musical

Annual 4th and 5th Grade Musical

Lower School Music

Lower school students explore the elements of music through singing, playing classroom and band instruments, listening, composing and improvising. As unique creations of God, they are encouraged to use their musical abilities to honor the Lord and bless others. Students perform a Christmas and spring concert and a Grades 4 and 5 musical.

Middle School Music

The Middle school music program includes general music classes for all students as well as performing groups such as choir, band, handbell choir and select vocal ensemble. Performances include a winter and spring concert.

Upper School Music

The Upper school program includes a music appreciation class, a dual enrollment music theory course and a variety of performing ensembles including choir, band, handbell choir, select vocal ensemble and madrigal singers. Performances include a Christmas and spring concert, pops concert, and madrigal dinner.
