For the 2026-2027 academic year, we are seeking to fill the following position:

1. Upper School Spanish Teacher – We are looking for a full-time Spanish teacher to join our talented team of teachers. The Spanish teacher will teach various levels of Spanish for students in grades 9 through 12. 2. Middle and Upper School Guidance Counselor – We are seeking a Guidance Counselor to provide curricular, career, and college placement guidance to Middle and Upper School students. To be considered, please submit the Employment Application to our Middle and Upper School Principal, Mrs. Shannon Nusser, at snusser@plumsteadchristian.org.  The Middle and Upper School Guidance Counselor will be responsible for administrative tasks associated with the Office of the Registrar, as well as providing leadership and service in the areas of academic and career guidance for all 6th-grade through 12th-grade students and college placement counseling for students in grades 9-12. Our preferred candidate will have a master’s in school counseling and experience serving in this capacity in a previous school.
3. Middle and Upper School English (Full or Part-Time) – Our Middle and Upper School English teacher will need to teach literature and writing courses to Middle and/or Upper School students in grades 7 through 12. 4. Upper School (9-12) Biology Teacher (Full or Part-Time) – To teach a variety of biological science courses (general biology, Advanced Placement biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Environmental Science, Advanced Placement Environmental Science. 5. Upper School (9-12) Math and Science Teacher (Full or Part Time) – To teach a variety of high school math courses and Chemistry in the 2026-2027 school year and Physics in the 2027-2028 academic year (these science courses generally alternate with each other every other year).
6. Middle and Upper School Academic Support Aide, Part-time, three days per week – This academic support aide will be working closely with our Academic Support teacher to serve students who need additional accommodations or support to thrive within our program. To be considered, please submit the Employment Application to our Middle and Upper School Principal, Mrs. Shannon Nusser, at snusser@plumsteadchristian.org.
7.  2nd Grade Classroom Teacher, Full-Time – We are seeking a teacher with PA certification in elementary education to join our amazing team of educators.  He or she will serve as the core academic teacher in one of our two second-grade classrooms, working in collaboration with our other second-grade teacher. 8. Pre-K Classroom Teacher, Full-Time – We are seeking a teacher to join our team of preschool teachers within our on-site preschool program. Our preferred candidate will have an early education credential and previous experience teaching kindergarten readiness.
