How is a Top-Ranked Christian education affordable at Plumstead Christian School?
A PCS education is affordable for two reasons. First, no family at Plumstead Christian School pays more than 85% of what it costs to educate a student. This is made possible through the generous financial support of donors to our Annual Fund, our endowment, and other sources of income. Second, PCS is introducing our new Variable Tuition program.
What is Variable Tuition?
Variable Tuition is not a “one-size-fits all” tuition approach. Tuition costs range from 50-100% of the maximum tuition level and matches your child’s tuition rate to your family’s unique financial situation. This makes a Plumstead Christian School education accessible to many qualified families who would not otherwise be able to join our school community.
How Does Variable Tuition Work?
All families with children entering K-12th grades are eligible for Variable Tuition. Families can apply for a FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment through the FACTs website. Based on their assessment and our Variable Tuition Committee review, each family’s tuition rate is determined.
What Factors are considered when determining my Variable Tuition rate?
Many factors are considered including income, assets, unusual expenses, family size, and the number of children currently attending PCS.
When may families apply for Variable Tuition?
New families may apply for Variable Tuition in conjunction with their application process. Current families may apply for the following year starting in December and during the continued enrollment period.
When will I receive notification of my Variable Tuition rate?
After you have submitted the FACTS application, the process generally takes 2-4 weeks as long as all required information has been submitted to FACTS (our confidential, third party agency).

What is the tuition for the 2023-2024 school year?
Our K-12 tuition schedule below is for the 2023-2024 academic year and includes the cost of instruction, books and educational materials, transportation, laboratory fees, music and art classes, and many co-curricular programs. Our Preschool Tuition Schedule will be published separately.

New Students: Upon acceptance of an offer of admission, a $500 non-refundable deposit is due. Plumstead Christian School offers several payment plans for the remaining tuition.
NOTE: If the cost of full tuition is a barrier to your child’s attendance at Plumstead Christian School, consider applying to our Variable Tuition Program. Qualified applicants will receive a variable tuition rate within the range of 50% to 100% of the list tuition schedule.
