PCS provides information, resources, and support to students and families throughout the entire college and career planning process. Although the college search, application, and decision-making process should be student-led, parents and school counselors are important partners in this undertaking. School counselors meet with students and parents individually and as a class to discuss the college and career planning process.

Annual College Tour for Junior Class

PCS Juniors have the unique opportunity to spend a week with the rest of their class touring 4-5 colleges on the Annual Christian College Tour. Students take campus tours, sit in on classes, worship in chapels, eat in dining halls and spend a night with current students in dorm rooms.
The College Tour enables students to compare a variety of campuses and begin to identify the important factors of colleges that best fit them.
Each year, Our Headmaster holds a workshop for the seniors comprised of sample interview questions and important do’s and don’ts during an interview. Following the workshop, students are invited to take part in several one-on-one interviews with patron parents. Patron interviewers give feedback to the students in multiple areas such as vocal volume and inflection, body language, their handshake, and answer content. This is a valuable tool for preparing for college and job interviews!
