Bringing a sense of school pride, discipline, and teamwork, the Plumstead Christian athletic program serves as an integral part of a student’s total education.
Led by a committed group of coaches, the Varsity and JV Panthers compete against both public and private schools in the Bicentennial Athletic League (BAL).
Winning is valued -- PCS is committed to excellence in athletics. But the athletic program serves as a channel to develop, above all else: strong Christian character. The educational benefits of an excellent athletic program develop a balanced lifestyle in the spiritual, mental, physical, and social dimension of one’s total being.
A Parent's Perspective
We want to express our gratitude to Coach Armandt, members of our wrestling team, and Plumstead Christian School for encouraging Duncan in an endeavor that was alien to us but so transformative for him! After all of Coach Armandt’s efforts, we are grateful that he was rewarded with another first place finish at Districts. We also appreciate how Cameron Taylor, last year’s District 1 winner, came to this year’s Districts to encourage the wrestlers. He even stepped in and coached one of our wrestler’s matches while Duncan was wrestling. Parents of our wrestlers have been so positive, and friendships have been fostered out of the common bond of encouraging our kids.
